Chronicles of a Procrastinating Novelist Volume 26: Gut Instinct Fairy

Dowdy, constant, and grounded compared to the rest of the gang, what she lacks in creativity and flair, she makes up for in accuracy. She's unpopular because, unlike Inspiration Fairy, she's happy to deal in ugly truths. "That scene is terrible." "You're skewing that character." "Someone else already had that idea, and they wrote it better." She's so quiet and unassuming, she tends to be overridden by the flashy fairies. She get's mistaken for Insecurity Fairy when Artistic Vision Fairy doesn't want to be contradicted, but she's patient and persistent. When the other voices quiet, and the crowd clears out, she's still there. Needling. You may not want to trust her, so she'll often employ your peers until she recruits a chorus to get her point across. Fight her if you must, but once you learn to heed her, you'll save yourself untold stress.

Thank you for reading.
